Sesame Seed Crackers Recipe

Snacks are usually the greatest challenge many face when on a healthy eating plan.  There aren’t many healthy options on the go and sometimes you just don’t feel like another piece of fruit or raw veggies.  For those days these sesame seed crackers are brilliant! They go so well with nut butters, healthy dips or just on their own.

These couldn’t be any easier to make:

Ingredients:

3 cups almond flour

1 cup sesame seeds

2 organic eggs

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

Optional: add  garlic powder, herbs or pepper for added flavouring

In a large mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients.  Add the eggs and olive oil.  Mix well until entire mixture sticks together.  Take half the mixture and form in to a ball.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper (baking paper).  Place the ball in the middle and cover with another sheet.  Using a roller, roll the mixture until it is approximately 1/8 of an inch thick.

Cut the mixture in to rectangles and bake for 10-12 minutes at 170C or until lightly golden brown.

Enjoy!

can you taste the almond flour? I’ve never used it before and I’m looking for a snack that does not taste like a nut? This sounds really good.
