What are kettlebells?
A kettlebell is cast iron ball with a handle.
Are kettlebells a fad?
Definitely not. Like a dumbell, bar bell or other training tools, kettlebells are simply a tool and one that is here to stay. Kettlebells have been around for decades, they are known to be an old Russian strong man training tool.
Are kettlebells just for men?
No. Kettlebells are an excellent training tool for women as well. They may look masculine and intimidating but in fact with excellent instruction they are fun and easy to use, most importantly extremely effective.
Why train with kettlebells?
Kettlebells work the posterior chain (backs of the legs, bum and lower back) areas typically weak in most people. It’s important to strengthen these areas as a weak posterior chain may lead to back pain, muscular imbalances and injury.
I haven’t workout in years, can I still do the workshop?
Absolutely. The workshop is about learning the skills so you can then confidently implement them at home. You will feel like you worked out but the purpose is skill development. Work at your own level. If you feel exhausted during the workshop, simply sit back and watch when needed.

Rosa is an expert trainer and a former primary school teacher. Her passion is teaching and 7 years of teaching children she is patient, easy going and very friendly. She always makes everyone feel comfortable and safe despite their ability level.
Do I need to have a kettlebell for the workshop?
No. Kettlebells will be provided. Should you wish to purchase one on the day please send an email to contact@rocofit.com
How will I know what to do after the workshop?
There are many workouts on this website with kettlebells. Simpy choose one and follow along.
I don’t like group settings, can I book a private lesson?
Rosa does do one to one sessions if your prefer one to one or the workshop timetable doesn’t fit your schedule. The private sessions are $85/hour One hour will be a great starting point as the one to one time does give you the extra attention allowing you to move slightly quicker than in a group setting.
