This healthy pasta substitute will have you feeling amazing and forgetting traditional pasta. Even if you don’t follow the primal diet, many people are intolerant to wheat and have a hard time digesting it.
This recipe is the perfect substitute. It’s simple and so delicious!
1 tsp organic butter
salt and pepper to taste
Optional: seasonings, slivered almonds, seeds, etc
Slice the zucchini using a mandolin peeler in to long thin strips. Take each strip and slice in half the long way to make long thinner strips. If it’s a big zucchini you may have to slice it in threes.
Add butter to a hot pan and add the zucchini strips, be sure to separate them as best you can.
Season and mix continuously until cooked. Cooking time is approximately 2-4 minutes depending on how soft you like the zucchini noodles.
Add your favourite pasta sauce and enjoy!
