I have been training with Rosa for about a year now. After years of working out on my own and not getting anywhere I decided to bite the bullet and train with a professional trainer to help me get in shape. I never thought I’d say this but Rosa’s sessions are completely addictive and I feel amazing after each session and can’t wait for the next one.

She’s simply a brilliant personal trainer with a wealth of knowledge and experience coupled with an infectious personality and a killer sense of humour. But if you think because of her wide smile and warm personality that she is going to take it easy on you, you are sadly mistaken! Rosa is very knowledgeable about nutrition too which is really handy and is always full of great advice and tips. I have changed my eating habits thanks to her and have really seen massive changes to my mood and energy levels.

Rosa has been an inspirational trainer who has encouraged me to achieve goals beyond my highest expectations. Leading a sedentary lifestyle, I had never before achieved high levels of fitness. But, Rosa developed a comprehensive programme for me that helped to facilitate incremental improvements beyond my expectations. We focused, in particular, on weight-lifting training as I wished to improve my upper-body strength. The programme was very successful and it resulted in a complete transformation in my upper-body shape and in my posture as well.
Rosa is incredibly enthusiastic and has motivated me to over-achieve but is also very well prepared and deliberate and these complementary qualities were key to the success of the programme.

Having decided last year that I needed to stop messing about at the gym and sort myself out I started training with Rosa and have never looked back. To kick start it all I followed her nutrition plan for 5 weeks as well as the training– in that time I lost 10 pounds. More importantly I lost 1.5 inches off my hips and chest and a whopping 6.5 inches off my waist.

Since then I’ve kept up the training and have felt and seen great changes:

  • I am so much fitter, stronger and flexible.
  • I have a waist
  • My bottom has lifted a couple of inches (something a very envious friend pointed out)
  • My posture is better
  • I have more energy
  • I no longer get back/shoulder pains even though I still spend all day hunched over a computer

I love training with Rosa, she mixes up the routines every couple of weeks to keep it interesting, we have a laugh and she’s so positive. When I ask about things she explains what the exercises do/why I’m doing them and it didn’t take her long at all to work out how to motivate me. The difference between having a good trainer and just going to the gym is immense, the time is used more efficiently and the exercises are so much more effective and way less boring. Not to mention that having someone there means you push yourself that little bit extra which makes all the difference.

Rosa is quite simply a fantastic trainer.

I was keen to get in shape for my 40th birthday and beyond and Rosa helped me achieve my goals every step of the way. I don’t think you could meet someone more enthused about health and fitness, but in a totally human and non-obsessive way. You never feel like this is a job for Rosa, more like she is sharing her enthusiasm with a friend; not that she won’t push you – Rosa absolutely will and that’s why you get results.

Rosa is also a trained sports masseur and so as you train can help loosen tight spots to help to carry on with the training – something critical for me who had several weak spots although Rosa really worked on my overall posture and strength rather than simply concerning my training with losing inches.

Rosa has instilled her enthusiasm for training in me so I have continued on and that’s no small feat.
