Turmeric Latte Recipe

Ooh this is so my new favourite treat! Turmeric latte also known as ‘golden milk’ is so delicious and incredibly good for you. It’s also a great alternative if you’re taking a little break from coffee or don’t drink coffee.

I’m quite a boring drinker of things. I don’t do juices or fancy coffees, I don’t like green tea although I drink it because it’s good for me and sparkling water is living on the wild side for me…lol To find something I can add to my repertoire of drinks that also feels like a treat is a big win.

Not only does this taste amazing the benefits of Turmeric are out of this world. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant, aids in digestion, assists in digestion and cleansing and is also a potent anti inflammatory.

The best part is it’s simple to make. Here’s the recipe for you:

1 tsp organic ground turmeric

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

a tsp of raw honey or pure maple syrup

a dash of black pepper

a dash of cinnamon (missing in the pic is cinnamon and pepper but they’re key)

Add the ingredients in a pan with low to medium heat and whisk while it heats up. Once warm pour in your favourite cup and enjoy 🙂
